A paradigmatic myth, ancient and contemporary,
A choreographer today at the pinnacle of creativity,
A company that is defining an ambitious path of repositioning and growth
meet to give life to one of the most important shows of 2020.
Don Juan is the new full-evening production of the National Dance Foundation / Aterballetto, designed by Johan Inger and involves a parterre of theatres and festivals of absolute importance. The choreography stems from Inger’s desire to confront Don Giovanni, an ancient and still contemporary paradigmatic myth. Don Juan can be considered a Kammerspiel, with its ability to underline nuances and emotions: and in the case of this creation, the dance places the individual performers under the magnifying glass and reveals in a subtle but evident way the inner world of men and women on stage.
