A soprano, a rock voice and an orchestra come together to realize the live concert of the entire album Barcelona, the masterpiece of the British band – released in 1998 – born thanks to the meeting of two legends: Queen leader Freddie Mercury and one of the greatest voices in opera history, soprano Montserrat Caballé. The fusion of lyric and symphonic rock will be revived by the voice of the internationally renowned soprano Desireé Rancatore and the determined and powerful one of the Swedish rocker Johan Boding, accompanied by two instrumental sections, a rock and a classical, formed by the Orchestra Città di Ferrara, all conducted by Maestro Roberto Molinelli who has also expertly curated the arrangements of the show. In the second part of the concert will be performed the greatest hits of Queen: a long roundup that spans most of fifty years of history with unforgettable songs such as “The Show Must Go On”, “Somebody to Love”, “We will rock you”A real tribute to the extraordinary talent of Freddie Mercury and his band.
